Join our Team of Super Volunteers
1. Fundraising
Become a Volunteer SOS Fundraiser today to help SOS Children’s Villages provide loving homes for orphaned and abandoned children in India. There are over 20 million children in India who have nowhere to call home. They need your support.
Starting a fundraiser is easy, please contact us and we’ll give all the necessary information.
2. Raise Awareness
With over 20 million abandoned and orphaned children in India we need your help now more than ever. Help us find a loving home for every one of these children by raising awareness about SOS among the Indian Diaspora community – professional associations, college groups, and public events. The more people who are aware of the gravity of the situation, the faster change will come. Follow this quick three-step process to get involved now.
- Step 1: Fill out this form to tell us how you plan on raising awareness.
- Step 2: Download these volunteer resources to support your outreach efforts.
- Step 3: Send us pictures and testimonials from the event.
3. Volunteer for Diwali
This year will be the greatest Diwali we’ve had together. Please email or call me, Moumita, letting me know you may be interested in becoming a Super-Volunteer for Diwali this year. I need YOUR help NOW so that we can meet our goal of helping 5,000 children by October 26th, the day we celebrate Diwali this year.
When you become a Super-Volunteer for our SOS India Initiative, we will send you a small set of materials and ask you to distribute to other Indians you know. It’s that simple!
- Email me, Moumita at moumita.b@sos-usa.org, and let me know you’re thinking about becominga Super-Volunteer this year.
- You will receive materials in the mail and by email, with simple instructions to let other Indians know about Diwali and our campaign.
- You will be part of a special group of Indians in the U.S. who are helping abandoned and at-risk children back home. This year will be the greatest Diwali we’ve had together.
